There's an open source firmware upgrade for Archos jukeboxen called Rockbox (http://rockbox.haxx.se/) which supports ID3v2, as well as many other things (http://rockbox.haxx.se/docs/features.html) that aren't necessarily supported by the official firmware. Faster boot, more games, even longer battery life. Heh. Well, it probably can't hurt. I haven't myself tried it since I'm not Archos-equipped.
